We're excited to offer a tournament for young players at Annex Chess Club!

Starting on January 15, 2024, ACC will be holding a series of five-round tournaments (just like our regular tournaments), starting at 5:00 p.m., with a time control of 30+30. The first one is called A New Leaf (Youth Tournament.)

These classically-timed games will contribute to your standard rating, while being early enough and short enough to get you home by a reasonable time on a school night! (Most games will be over by 6:30 p.m.)

Depending on registration, we will have multiple sections. Tournament winners will be awarded a book of their choice from our extensive library.

The cost is $10 per round, or $40 per tournament. A Youth Tournament membership is also available for $97 per year.

Players 16 and under are welcome to join.

A valid CFC ID is required for these tournaments. However, A CFC membership is NOT required, as this is a juniors-only tournament.
