Intermediate Chess for Kids - Mondays, 8 weeks, in-person

This is an 8-week, in-person chess class in which kids will learn intermediate chess concepts. Our goal is to help our students improve both their performance and enjoyment of playing chess. Each class is 1.0 hrs. long. Classes may be purchased by parents on an à-la-carte basis.

Instructor: David Filipovich, NM

Topics will be covered from the following areas of play: openings, middlegame, endgame, strategy and tactics. Students should already be familiar with the basic concepts covered in our Beginner Chess for Kids course.

Classes will be held at 918 Bathurst on the scheduled Mondays from 5:00 to 6:00 PM. Class dates are: Jan 23/30, February 6/13/27, and Mar 6/13/20. No classes will be held on February 20 (Family Day).
