The 2023 Toronto Women's Closed Chess Championship is overseen by the Greater Toronto Chess League (GTCL). 

We have had to delay the start of this tournament, and we've lowered our prices! Here are the details:

• Location: Annex Chess Club
• 7-round Swiss in one section.
• Open to women and girls of all ages.
• 6:30 PM each Monday evening. Rounds are held on Dec. 11, Jan. 8, 15, 22, 29, Feb. 5, and 12.
• 60' + 30" time control. Games should generally be finished by 9:00 p.m.
• CFC rated. CFC membership required.
• Free entry for titled players (please email info@annexchessclub.com)
• Entry fee: $60, ($40 for ACC members)
• Prize fund: $1200 (including $500 for first place) based on 30 entrants. (Prize fund may be lower if registration is low.)
