We offer classes for children and adults on Mondays.

Our four-week beginner courses are for those who have absolutely no knowledge of chess. If you know basic piece movements and understand terms like checkmate, pin, and stalemate, then you need the intermediate course.

Our beginner course for kids is on Mondays from 5:00 until 6:00. Adult beginners is from 6:15 to 7:15.

Our eight-week intermediate course builds on the basics. Often, on completion of the intermediate course, students feel confident enough to try tournament play. Again, the intermediate kids course runs from 5:00 to 6:00, and adults from 6:15 to 7:15.

Our classes will be resuming in September, and the cost is approximately $22 to $25 per week. Single classes and courses of four or eight classes will be available.

Students are welcome to play in our casual section after their class.
