The Toronto Women's Chess Club (TWCC) meets once a month, typically on the second Monday of the month, and is a safe and welcoming environment for women and girls.

TWCC meets from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

WGM Anna Burtasova delivers a monthly lecture with chess analysis, focussed on important women chess players, followed by casual or tournament play.

Any female ACC member is welcome to attend TWCC. The non-member drop-in fee is $10.

Anna Burtasova was born in Russia, and moved to Canada in 2019. She earned her WGM (Woman Grandmaster) title in 2009, and is heavily involved in the chess scene.
