It’s summertime, and some of our Annex players have had notable results in out-of-town events (Thanks, Erik Malmsten!):
Benasque 2013 Open, Spain
There were 428 players in the 2013 Benasque Open including 36 GMs, 5 WGMs, 25 IMs – and 5 Annex players!
Michael Humphreys 2183 6/10 +5 FIDE rating points.
(He defeated a 2342 player but lost to a GM and an IM.)
Jonathan Farine 1886 5/9 +44 FIDE rating points!

The guys all forfeited a round? Slept in?
