Chess in the Mall

Chess at Eglinton Square food court

Kathy Zaremba wanted a place for her 90-year-old grandfather to play chess. So she started working with the manager at Eglinton Square Mall (Eglinton Ave. E at Victoria Park) to bring casual chess to the food court.

Now, a few months later, the tables have had permanent chess board decals put on them, and their new flyer is out, promoting the space. Congratulations, Kathy. Thanks for helping to bring more chess to Toronto!
